LANXESS will present its portfolio of preservatives and multifunctionals for personal care, household care and, for the first time, pet care at the SEPAWA Congress in Berlin. The company is also introducing Cosmelin, a new line of readily biodegradable specialty esters positioned as high-performance alternatives to silicones in skin care, hair care, sunscreens and decorative cosmetics. Cosmelin is a new family of high-performance, readily biodegradable specialty esters developed for cosmetic and personal care use. The esters are designed to deliver sensory benefits traditionally associated with silicones—slip, spreadability, smoothness and shine—in both silicone-containing and silicone-free formulations.
