Disclaimer: Prices reflect the named commodity/precious-metal/energy benchmarks only. They are not specialty chemical (e.g. methanol, MEG, caustic soda) spot prices — no free source exists for those. Data refreshes once daily via a scheduled sync (Alpha Vantage free tier: 25 requests/day). Monthly-cadence commodities will show an unchanged value between source updates even though this API is queried daily.
